About Us
ChrysalisQ was birthed in the hallways of the Texas State Capitol. While parents with LGBTQ children were waiting to speak with legislators regarding anti-transgender laws, children played together and parents had the opportunity to network with community leaders for resources and encouragement.
From this experience at the Capitol, we saw the need to build a supportive community that would provide tools and resources needed to support LGBTQ families. Consequently, we aspired to create environments where children have freedom to live their truth and joy with confidence.

Listen to the stories of LGBTQ+ families to learn how to best support them. Host Play Days and create opportunities for families to form relationships & build community
Near Future Vision
By taking the time to listen to the community we’ve been able to fullfill the need for a summer camp in 2024. We’re excited to offer a time for youth to play, make friends, and create memories of a lifetime together.
Big Vision
With encouragement and sustaining donors, ChrysalisQ will answer the call for the need of a network of care for LGBTQ+ families, from the youngest member to caregivers.
